HOW COMMON IS AUTISM.

Since autism was first labeled by Dr.Leo Kanner more than fifty years ago,estimated of the number of people affected by autism and related disorders have varied widely,though it is generally agreed that boys outnumber girls five to one.typical estimates projects that 5 people in 10,000 have autism, which means now autism may actually occur in 1 of every 150 children,diferent reason for apparent rise:increased use of antibiotics,reactions to vaccination,and pollution,but i believe,is due to increased awareness, and better diagnostic criteria,in our particular case with Nicole,we detected when Nicole just have 2 years old,and we start to work with the ABA, and will work with diferents protocols,until we more o less start to learn better the Program,i think that is the key,early diagnosis and early intervention,now nicole is 10 years old ,3 Grade ,and will continue the same therapy, and ,of course for me.
